Book Publishers

Here is a list of Catholic book publishers offering materials used by many homeschoolers:

TAN has long had a reputation for hard-hitting Catholic orthodoxy. Many titles are re-printed classic texts of Catholic history and spirituality for both children and adults. TAN was recently acquired by St. Benedict Press, who already published many great Catholic titles, especially copies of Holy Scripture.

Publisher of many of the pope’s works as a private theologian before his election, and excellent saint’s lives for children. Ignatius has a wealth of titles and a strong reputation for quality.

Seton Press publishes the textbooks and workbooks used in Seton’s renowned curriculum.

Bethlehem Books publishes reprints of wholesome children’s books, originally published between 1900 and 1965, with a few exceptions. Books are mainly historical fiction with a Christian world view.

Publishes Catholic textbooks and workbooks for homeschooling students of all ages.

Has an extensive collection of titles for younger children with a strong catechetical focus. Pauline also publishes many of the encyclical letters written by modern popes.

A family-operated bussiness which prints many works of classical Catholic literature and homeschooling texts.

The publishing arm of Our Lady of Victory School, Lepanto prints many of the books used in the OLVS curriculum.

Mostly books for Catholic adults, but some titles appeal specifically to homeschoolers.

Language arts and liturgical resources for homeschooling families as well as books on homeschooling support for parents.

Chesterton Press is owned by Regina Doman and primarily publishes her acclaimed Fairy Tale Novels for Teens.  These books are much loved by many young adult readers and have been performed as stage plays and even an award-winning audio drama.

Catholic activity books for children, Catholic dramatized audio CD’s, and Catholic movies.

Prints a series of thematic children’s stories geared toward teaching aspects of the Catholic Faith

Little Angels Reader Catholic phonics books, including phonetic readers, workbooks, and teacher manuals for grades K-2.
